For the past few years I have found myself reaching for a few paint colors that keep working for me time and time again. Think of them like a good pair of jeans that you can dress up or down. I would also say my color tone has tipped the scale a little towards the warmer grays in recent years. When choosing paint colors my style is to either create a really nice, light, clean, background or I go all in with a very bold and moody vibe!
I will always suggest to get a small sample to put on the wall or order a large color sheet. Hang it up in the room and live with it for a few days. This will give you an opportunity to see how it reacts at different times of the day depending on the amount of light you get in that space.
